NTA has released its job recruitment notification NTA UGC NET Dec 2022 Notification & Online Form. Here you can go through the detailed notification like eligibility, age limit, salary structure, exam pattern and its important dates to apply and examination.
Important Dates
- Start Date for Apply Online : 29/12/2022
- Last Date for Apply Online : 17/01/2023
- Complete Form Submit Date : 17/01/2023
- UGC NET Dec 2022 Exam Date : 21/02/2023 to 10/03/2023
Application Fee
- General : Rs. 1100/-
- EWS / OBC : Rs. 550/-
- SC / ST / PH : Rs. 275/-
- Payment Mode : Online
Age Limit
- JRF: Not more than 31 years as on 1st day of the month in which the examination is concluded (This age limit is applicable for the current examination only).
- Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit in applying for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor.
NTA UGC NET 2022 Eligibility
- Passed / Appeared Master Degree in Concerned Subject with at Least Minimum 55% Marks for UR Candidates and 50% Marks for SC / ST / OBC Candidates.
UGC NET Dec 2022 Selection Process
- Mode of Examination: The Examination shall be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) only.
- Pattern: The Test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions. There will be no break between papers.
- Time Duration : For Both paper – 03 Hours
Paper I : 100 Marks : 50 Questions
- MCQ : The questions in Paper I intends to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper II : 200 Marks : 100 Questions
- This is based on the subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge.

How to Apply UGC NET 2022 Online Form
- Step-1: Apply for Online Registration using unique Email Id and Mobile No.
- Step-2: Complete Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.
- Step-3: Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph and Candidate’s Signature in JPG/JPEG format.
- Step-4: Make a payment of fee through SBI /Syndicate /HDFC /ICICI /Paytm Payment Gateway (Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking / Paytm) and keep proof of fee paid.
