Technician (Mechanical):
- Full time & regular Three Years’ Diploma in (Mechanical / Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering / Technology and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973). OR
- The Candidates with HSC(Science) and direct admission to second year/ 3rd Semester of Three Years’ Diploma in (Mechanical/Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering / Technology and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973). OR
- 4 years’ (Eight Semesters) or 3½ years’ (Seven Semesters) full time & regular Diploma in (Mechanical / Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering / Technology under Sandwich pattern. OR
- The Candidates with HSC(Science) and direct admission to second year/ 3rd Semester of 4 years’ (Eight Semesters) or 3½ years’ (Seven Semesters) full time & regular Diploma in (Mechanical/Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering/ Technology under Sandwich pattern.
Technician (Electrical):

- Full time & regular B.Sc.(Physics) Degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects during any of the 3 years course of B.Sc. Degree and passing of The National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) examination in the Instrument Mechanic (Chemical Plant) i.e. IM(CP) Trade. OR
- Full time & regular Three Years’ Diploma in (Instrumentation / Allied branches of Instrumentation) Engineering / Technology and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973). OR
- The Candidates with HSC(Science) and direct admission to second year / 3rd Semester of Three Years’ Diploma in (Instrumentation / Allied branches of Instrumentation) Engineering/Technology and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973). OR

The NCVT in AO(CP) Trade is necessarily be completed after passing of B.Sc.(Chemistry) Degree. OR
- Full time & regular Three Years’ Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology from UGC / AICTE recognized University / Institution and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973). OR
